Such a great girl.....

I am so proud of this girl....

C is my friends daughter, she is 10 yrs old, and earlier this year she heard of the Child Cancer fundraiser where you have your head shaved and get friends/family to sponser you and all the money you raise goes to the NZ Child Cancer Charity-

Today here in Christchurch was the day the everyone got there heads shaved, a great event in the city Re-Start mall earlier this evening. They had groups of about 8 up of the stage at once having their heads done. I think there was about 20 or so in total, and $thousands raised. ( C raised over $1600.00 herself)
C was smiling the whole way through, she is so gorgeous.
Her hair was down past her shoulders, the hairdresser doing her cut it off in one big ponytail first, then shaved the rest of with the electric razors!

In this shot she has the ponytail in her hand, and all her friends are reaching up to touch her 'new' head!
