Freeze framed fruit

Nothing terribly remarkable about this scene, yet when I walked past the table this morning, the thin glow of light surrounding these apples in a bowl caught my eye.

Photography enables us to freeze a moment in time. A cliché statement perhaps, but true nevertheless as seconds after this shot was snapped, one of the apples was eaten! Simply amazing.
