Warding Off Witches
SUNDAY
Theres a lot of folklore around the Rowan. It said to be a magical tree which gives protection against malevolent beings and prevents those on a journey from getting lost.
It's also good for warding off of witches and as a counter charm against sorcery.
Folklore maintains that a heavy crop of fruit means a hard or difficult winter.
