Vision of the Anitkabir

Visions come in strange and unlikely places: it hit me suddenly while meandering along the road: a clear apparition of the ANITKABIR (Ataturk's Mausoleum) in Ankara in Turkey. We see it lashed by storms and the upheaval of last summer where many thought the cherished secular democratic values of Mustafa Kemel Attaturk were under threat. Storm tossed, the monumental structure stands proud and undaunted.
