Ferocious!
Another busy day at work today - my boss told me that I need to step up and get some more papers out. I agree with him.. some of them are just taking forever to finish off. Time to put them to bed I think.
I contacted my old boss from New Zealand to find out how the clinical trial of the device that we patented was coming along. It's underway, which is good news. He also said that the embargo on publishing that work has been lifted, so hopefully there'll be more publications coming from that in the near future (most are already mostly written). He also said that he'd be able to pay for my registration for the tinnitus conference in Auckland in March. We'll be in NZ for Faye and Lewis' wedding anyway (albeit the wrong island), so it'll work well. My current boss was happy with me going, so it's all happening!
On my cycle home tonight I got soaked with rain and then pelted with hail. This is supposed to be December people - what happened to the 35 degrees from 3 days ago!!?? I took a decent blip on my way home (despite being soaked), but I couldn't resist another one of The Little Goblin dressed up in his bear suit - I think that this shot portrays his character more than any other shot I've put on blip so far... he's very much a boy, and incredibly playful! I may be able to get the other shot again on another day, so here's hoping.
