Nativity figures

These knitted Nativity figures are making their annual appearance on our lamp table. My wife bought them a good few years ago at a Fair-trade stand and recalls they were made in Guatemala - they are quite colourful.
The 2 elephants are always on this table and were brought back from Malaya in 1928 by my grandfather where he had been the manager of a rubber plantation.
I decided on an inside blip today as the Arctic storm has brought flurries of snow and a biting wind from the North. Thankfully the gales seem to be passing but there are dead wheelie bins lying everywhere!
