Winter ahead of Christmas

The day has been increasingly cold and snow, the wind is high and the conditions have been bad, blizzard white outs, broken trees and bridges closed.
The supermarket has tall lights in the car park and the most exposed of these was whipping back and for with violence, I was glad the choices were not mine to make.
I did help close three libraries today, and the weather hasn't dropped yet, fingers crossed for tomorrow. Mind you up here the biggest issue is power and lack of it, this has closed most schools and libraries.
