Chinese beer - but probably brewed in the UK

The backdrop to this is that I had a second birthday celebration meal as my son Chris couldn't be with me on my birthday. So we went to Kudos Chinese restaurant in Canterbury. The food is really great, but we always seem to order too much! Chris and I stuck to beer, which I prefer to wine with Chinese food and I was thinking that this beer was probably brewed in the UK, along with all that Indian, Belgian, Swiss beer that is brewed under licence. So we have to balance having the "real thing" against the lower environmental impact of providing a locally brewed product.
