Man at Work

Just filling in the time whilst transferring a recording of Ramond Mays (ancient but very famous racing driver of Bourne stock) on 'Desert Island Discs' in October 1969 from an old cassette tape to disc/digital for a friend (one copy to BBC as they don't have one - I really should be charging). One day soon you may be able to listen to it on BBC iPlayer. Check out the BBC webpage.

Of course my Kenwood KX-2020 (the big black 'hi-fi' cassette tape player under the desk lamp - on high) decides not to play tapes at the wrong moment, so I had to fix that first.

I wound up writing nearly 100 Xmas cards later on - got to bed after midnight!
