What a morning;
woke at 3am with high winds
very little sleep
finally got up at 8am to see what damage had been caused
rain coming in through a window in our living room
some missing slates
lots of items missing in the garden
no trains running
we are told not to travel
tidy up mess in garden
slip on the stairs and hurt my back (not sure if I have bruised ribs)
at 11am finally drive to work

Tonight we had a Christmas Shopping event at the Mackintosh Church, with a number of pop up vendors. Poor turn-out due to the weather conditions. This is the artist Neil Slorance creating some illustrations during the evening.

If the pain is not to bad will be Curling this evening. It was a bit painful but played. Unfortunately we lost 6-4. More painkillers and a glass of Gognac to dull the pain.
