First Light, Pendeford

My commute to work is always away from the rising sun. As I'm driving I sometimes get tantalising glimpses of early dawn light and today was one of those mornings.

The frustration is that for much of the journey there is either no option to stop (because I am on a motorway) or the sunrise is obscured by buildings. I was further frustrated by temporary traffic lights that took an interminable age to change to green (I know I should have got out and set up my tripod - a sure recipe for the green light to appear!).

I hope my blip friends from the north and east have survived the windy conditions today, unaffected.
