A child's dream

When I see this picture in my mum's flat it always takes me back to my childhood as this picture had pride of place on one of the walls. I would stare at it and want to be by the sea, and play in the sand or paddle in the sea, then come back to this house in the picture and sit and eat my tea and look out to this view.

When my mum moved to the sheltered housing I got this picture re-framed and it has been restored to its former glory. It belonged to my grandfather so it's a picture I hope to inherit one day - hope you remember that mum!!
