CJ's first day at nursery

Today was CJ's first real day at nursery. He has had a couple of settling-in sessions but today he went for the full half day. And, like the settling-in sessions, he went in and started playing without noticing that I wasn't there.

Leaving him there was a lot harder than I thought it would be - even though I had left him for his settling-in sessions, it was strange walking out with my little shadow.

But he had a great time and played with everything. There were no tears (except when he didn't want lunch). He was happy to see me when I picked him up though and brought home a "what I did today" collage to show me how his day had been.
