When my wife told me yesterday that there were high winds forecasted for this morning, I thought it was just the government being overly cautious and that I would be able to cycle to work as normal. I guess the huge tree that fell across one of the roads that my wife use to take our kids to school showed how badly wrong I was. The winds did die down enough for my lunchtime jog to be mostly moving in a forward direction, but the wind chill was something else.

Later in the afternoon I was asked by a work colleague to take some pictures of a charity event they had put on. The reflection here was an added, but totally unplanned, bonus.
