Frustrtated, disappointed but not surprised

It was a nice idea. This street is not by any means a nice street. Bars, hen & stag parties and probably one of the most dangerous - thanks to all the vehicles - pedestrian streets in the country.

But one day someone wanted to make a difference.

With the festival coming up lets make the street more attractive to all the visitors by locating flower displays at several spots. It was a good idea and after many meetings it came to fruition.

But one day someone wanted to make a difference.

They wanted to spoil it. They didn't want the street to look nice. They didn't care that each day someone admired the flowers. One day they worked their way up the street pulling out flowers from all the displays and throwing them across the street. They probably don't care about much at all actually . . . . . .

Still feeling really ropey - choked with the cold. Home to Lemsip at about 2 today. Trying to think about holiday next week but just not up to it at the moment.
