Third Generation

A day of difficulties for many in the north and down the east coast! Here in East Yorkshire at the inland side of the Wolds we have faired not to bad. The next few hours will tell how those twit the Wolds and the Sea will fair, my fingers are crossed for them.
It was not a good day for photographically, I might have go a shot of the Towns Christmas tree, only put up this week to grace last nights late night shopping event, this morning cowed and sagging from the wind and decorations above its capacity .
Instead you get three stages of colonisation! This wet area of wall first hosted an algae (the dark slightly blue flat area ) then has come mosses and now the first plants as we know them are germinating, the seed leafs or cotyledons can seen . Will they be a Elderberry or Buddleia, two of the common colonisers around here?
Hope you are safe one and all :¬)
