An awesome day.

Began with a trip to a small Christmas tree farm with C's class. Same one we went to last year, and just as quaint this year:
Hilarious and strange giggles from the four kids in the car
Christmas tree identification
Rotten stump removal
Cutting down the mini tree
Hot cocoa
And marshamallows.

And later in the day it became even more awesome.
C "needed" to go to the orchard for something.
By the time I had my boots and coat on, he went there and back, returning with a fir branch.
He decided he didn't want his brother to feel left out and brought him his own personal Christmas tree for his room.
In a bucket.
Filled with dirt.
Already watered.
And two homemade ornaments.

Made my heart flutter….
