Blipvent Calendar #5: Works Christmas Do

Busy afternoon/evening. Took a half-day off client work to go to central London to get together with my colleagues in the consulting business I'm in.

First, a photoshoot so we all have consistent-looking corporate photos (amusingly, most of the blokes forgot the instruction to bring a suit jacket, so five of us passed round the same two jackets between shots. Thankfully, we didn't do a group shot that would have given the game away).

Then, a two-hour meeting catching up with each other and planning ahead. This was followed by early evening drinks for about a dozen of us, then the hardcore magnificent seven of us sat down for a very convivial Christmas meal.

This is the calm before the storm...
