Winter trees, winter sky...

This was about 14:45 today as I walked home from my shopping errands.
The light was starting to go already and I heard a birdie singing it's little heart out high up in the tree. (It is that blob on the branch to the left!) It drew my attention to the colours in the sky and the size of the big old bare tree. The image does not do the sky justice really.

Here's my thought for the day -
If you shop locally and live on a hill you absolutely never need to get gym membership!
I struggled with several bags of vegetables, some bottles of whiskey (presents honest!) and mended boots and shoes and when I finally staggered indoors I decided to weigh them - 20lb/9.5 kilos! I think I have had my daily work out!
