Africa

Our thoughts turn to Africa today, and in particular South Africa. Although we knew he was an old man with failing health, it was till a shock to hear of the passing of Nelson Mandela. A great man who changed the face of South Africa, the world is a poorer place now he is no longer in it.
This little soapstone box was given to us by Jake who brought it home from Kenya where he had been on a school trip helping in an up country school. To open the box you have to lift out Kenya and then the lid swivels. A very ingenious box which is very useful when we watch Pointless!
