Roundabout Roman style!

A very early start to the day, the flight was only 2 hr 10 min (apparently 100 mile an hour winds behind us) so landed half an hour early after setting off 10 minutes late. Taxi driver didn't speak much English which was great for me to practice my rubbish Italian on - he seemed to understand some of my efforts.
Took loads of photos of this beautiful city during a 5 hour walk about but went for the Colosseum which unbelievably is surrounded by a massive roundabout!
