Good news

Picked up my latest goody bag from the Avalanche Records record club at the weekend. I joined in the hope it would mean I'd start hearing good local music I'd otherwise have missed, and that's more than amply fulfilled with this CD - Good News by Withered Hand. Great alt folk rock stuff with superb lyrics.I think it officially launches in Leith Dockers Club tomorrow night, though don't think I can make it unfortunately.
