I love this statue of Sir John Betjeman in St Pancras Station.

Home, and those few days passed too quickly!
A walk along the Seine in glorious sunshine before we left.
Eurostar back to London on time.

Then across to Kings Cross, and found the train to Leeds had been cancelled, along with many others going North.
We had no idea there had been such terrible weather over in England.
We missed it all.
However we were lucky the next train was running, and we managed to get a seat.
In the end arrived in Leeds at 6pm only an hour late, and the wind had dropped.

Couldn't believe the TV news when we got home.
No damage to our house or garden, but next door had part of their fence blown down.

Nice to be back, and now need a few days to recover!
