Just a candle

Thank you for all the comments on yesterday's blip. It was an excellent panto and a great night. I didn't get home after it until very late though and then was up early this morning to go and visit Dad. It was an enjoyable day with me winning at canasta against Dad and our friend John. We went up to The Steading for tea which was delicious.

I was trying to get a good shot of the open fire but I actually prefer this one of the single candle that was on the mantlepiece above it. They must be a wee bit short staffed at work but I managed to say no to doing shifts on Thursday and today but, I hadn't anything planned for tomorrow so I'm helping them out. It's a 0545 start, ouch! The extra money will come in handy though so it's all good!
