Let the celebrations begin
I tok this picture today as we were getting ready for the Eid celebrations altho a bit late this year I decided it would be a nice touch to celebrate it in college as we have alot of international students... Most of the students seemed to enjoy it as did I. It was a busy day getting the whole thing organised but it was worth it when a student left on the Students' Union facebook the following comment 'well i think dis years SU likes multi cultures...i didnt saw dis eid thing last year....nice' which made me a little proud and feeling like i did a good thing. Other news is that Charity wrote me an email from Malawi and it was lovely to hear how her family are gettting on... and another feel good factor is during the summer we dug a well in a place called sailsbury lion where in Mzuzu there was already a well close by but it made it easier for the children to water the garden patch however the orriginal well has dried up which means they are relilant on our well tho not necessarly a good thing that the well dried up it a feel good factor that what I worked hard at has paid off!! with a bit of sucess!!
