What to do when the electricity supply lets you down ???? Root out the candles and tea lights of course ;)

Taken during the power shortage that brought Lincoln and surrounding villages to their knees tonight, total carnage on the roads and on top of that, the extra traffic brought in by the Xmas market !!!!!!
No traffic signals/lights, no streetlighting and according to the radio before I leave for work, thousands of properties are in darkness :(
