Well I think it is a funny story!

Last week we did a big stocking up shop in M&S preparatory to Christmas and my son coming home for 3 weeks next week! (Other stores were also used!)

Chris unexpectedly said 'Why don't we get a turkey crown'. So we chose one that was unadorned with just two turkey breasts in a foil tray. That was that then. Put away in the freezer until Christmas.

Today he went out early to buy biscuits for church tomorrow as we are on coffee duty. He then called at the paper shop for his Yorkshire Post. He came back very cheerful as passing the butchers he remembered to order the Turkey! So that's one whole turkey and two breasts between 5!

This is where my ' one street', Long Lane becomes Harden Road on the mini roundabout junction. The fresh local turkeys are being advertised and in the background the sign is for Santa Land just down the road at the garden centre.

Turkey anybody?
