Happy 1st Day Of Autumn

Today was a kind of gloomy day. Cold and wet...has been since Sunday and the forecast indicates that it won't let up until Thursday afternoon. I heard mention that a chance of snow is in the forecast for tomorrow.

I'm not ready for winter yet but it seems that winter is ready for me and I guess as is with most nature based happenings there is nothing for it. I just don't want to miss those warm days of fall when the sun hangs out till around 8:30pm and the autumn days are touched with the vibrant touch of gold, reds and oranges. Hope I still get some of that before winter truly descends.

It was just a long slow day...glad it's almost over.
