Paperwork

We hope to be sending some cattle to market next week as the block on any movements on our farm will have ended (since the new animals would have been with us for over a week). There was a panic with one missing passport but we found the steer had been sold last August and the auctioneer who had come out to choose what he wanted in the ring had made a mistake when writing down the number!

There is always a panic as farmers were treated little better than criminals in the 90's if a mistake was found anywhere in the administration and they were penalised really heavily even if one admitted the mistake first!
