This is the life.

I didn't go too far for my morning walk as it was still a bit wild and cold. Then my Humans set off shopping for things for the house. That was the last I saw of them for the day. I stayed at home with the back up. She had a long lie in preparation for the nightshift and then did her usual tidy up. It was great to have a quiet house but still have someone to keep my fire in order. I went for a walk with the others at lunchtime and before dark as it was calmer and frosty. As you know I like the frost as it cuts down on the feet washing thing.
