Stornoway Christmas Lights

The council cut the Christmas lights budget to nil this year. Up until a few weeks ago there wasn't going to be a single festive light put up. The community changed all that. Folk arranged to raise funds so some of the existing lights could be put up, the housing partnership donated a huge tree, local businesses help pay for the other lights.

Hats off to the goods folks of Stornoway and the council should be ashamed of themselves!
