Fair Share

We went to the School Christmas Fair which was lovely - well-attended, friendly and fun. Katie was a bit disappointed not to win in various tombolas and lucky-dips - but the last prize of the day was for "Guess the Number of Sweets in the Jar," and Katie's guess of 401 was the winner! Since I whispered "400-and-something" and she wrote 401, it's only fair that I get 400 and she gets 1 - don't you think? ;)

Our new floor was laid whilst we were out, great to have a living room that doesn't look like a store room for the first time in several months. After the radiator leaked, the insurance agreed to replace it quick enough but there's been loads of delays. Anyway, just in time for Christmas. And the tree will go up tomorrow!
