Shiny and new

Tim went to pick up his NEW CAR this morning :) It's shiny and new and beautiful, and he is very happy. We're very excited about all the things we'll be able to go and do so easily now - especially going for walks in the country and nipping off for the odd weekend away.

He put the car to good use at lunchtime by driving me to see my lovely friend Katherine, and then coming to pick me up again later. 200 miles on the clock in the first day of ownership (including the 30-odd miles that were already on it when he picked it up) - pretty impressive!

I had such a lovely afternoon catching up with Katherine and her beautiful baby, Bluebell. We went to a really nice café and just nattered away for hours :)
