Oxford street lights

The lights were wonderful this year. Harrods was a bit disappointing to say the least.

Had an amazing day but I have a story of the start of the trip home. Are you ready?

We got to the train station early so we could get something to eat. The info boards were saying that there were delays bad cancellations. I didn't worry to start with.

We made our way upstairs bad our train had delayed on it. I asked the manager who was fending off 100's of questions. She said that there had been a signal failure and that she was sure wage the next train would be.

To cut a long story short by the time one train arrived there was a huge amount of people all wanting to get on that one and only train. Ness and I were fairly close to the barriers. There was at least two if not three train loads of people. It had bee suggested that if we could wait till the next day then do so.

All of a sudden the barriers just opened and it was a free for all. I shouted let's go Ness and pegged it as fast as I could. Now I'm not fit but I ran like s**t off a shovel. I barged people so Ness cold get through as she's super fit. She shouted as she ran past. "I'll get the seats just bleeping find me"

YES. She got two seats. We were lucky. Some people had to stand all the way home. I couldn't stop laughing because we were both so calm and we were laughing at our tag team that we has to make.

Good thing that happened today -

We got home.
