Crumbling

On the one hand, it wasn't especially wet or windy here today, nor, on the other hand, was it clear and bright -- it was just dull and grey and dismal, though (like yesterday) there was also a short spell of brightness (which, unfortunately, I wasn't able to nip out and take advantage of).

Instead, I got up to date with work on the quarterly magazine, napped again for a bit when that was out of the way, and nipped out for a short walk combined with a trip to the local grocery shop. This rather rundown house is at the bottom of a laneway which I often use as a shortcut to get to the shop, and its crumbling surfaces stood out more than usual today from the surrounding gloom.

The rest of the day was spent lazily.
