A pitch of gold.....

Year 8 football skills captured from my window today.

I have been watching the changing colours of this tree for several days and love the golden pool of leaves around its base. Today it was obviously the best place for ball skills!

And when I got home today, all those drainage channels had been filled and the turfs replaced. And after dinner, the workmen still had the energy to go late night shopping in town.
