My Lucky Day

Today it was crisp and cold. The birds were very active around the feeders. AND, today I was blessed with a cardinal coming for some tidbits. Even though we live practically in the woods, cardinals are few and far between. We just don't have the right cover for them. So, when this male made a visit, I was ecstatic. Ran to get my camera and by the time I returned he was gone. But perseverance won out....I waited and he returned for some more goodies and I got a blip! As I said, it was my lucky day!
