This is my Christmas tree for this year. It's on the small side, easy to put up, easy to take down.

My sister in law made it from buttons to different sizes threaded onto embroidery yarn. She was aghast to hear this would indeed be my Christmas tree this year.

I like real Christmas trees and have done them before. But I won't be here for Christmas and we're likely to have a lot of hot days between now and then, which won't do a live Christmas tree any good.

So tiny Christmas tree it is. Might pass on the lights ;-)

I'll suspend it from the beam and put my pressies under it. Perfect.
