Soulful Malamute

I met this gorgeous three-year-old Alaskan Malamute up on Castle Ring this morning. She's too long-haired to show and she was a bit lively when she was a puppy, her owner said, but she's calmed down now. She was certainly behaving herself on her walk.

I think the world and his wife were out walking this morning. I went to my favourite woodland and the car park was so full, the vehicles were spilling out into the road. It was far quieter up on the highest point of Cannock Chase, where the autumn colours were subsiding and misted. One day I will do justice to this beautiful place in a photo.
