The Old Man And His Dog

My first purchase from a car boot sale today - a Pentax ME Super for a fiver. The decision was instant. I have a lot of learning and catching up to do using a film camera. Moments later, while sipping a latte and studying my new toy, I took some high and low key images of it - so predictable!
On my way back I met this man with his dog. He was sitting perfectly composed amidst the fading foliage, soaking up whatever warmth the winter sun would offer. A few words and you could tell that the simplest of joys would be sufficient to make his day... even a smile from a stranger.
