It's Arrived
Xmas that is - well almost. Diana put the decorations up today and there's no doubt that it helps to heighten the sense of Xmas. I like it.
Rache and Ross round for dinner again tonight and Matthew as well now that he is home. I feel like I have spent the whole afternoon cooking. Still, I don't mind as I know they will appreciate the food as long as I don't balls it up of course. We have a cream of mushroom soup followed by a slow cooked brisket (5 hours to be precise) with a rich beef gravy served with creamed leeks, mash and carrots and we finish it off with a good old fashioned rice pudding. Two tins of evaporated milk in the rice pudding. I will be awake all night with the sugar rush.
