"Tag der Besten" = Day Of The Best (talented young craftsmen and -women of the year 2013 of the Palatinate). Nine of them under the first three countrywide.

In the photo everybody is trying to get the final best shot of the best crafters.
Not me. They will be in the newspaper tomorrow and the coming days.

Well done all of them! They have every reason to be proud of themselves.
And again I noticed: Girls undergoing an apprenticeship in traditional male trades very often end up with the best results on the winners' podium.
You could say they and the celebration today are the icing of my work-cake.
