Xmas spirit

First Christmas party of the season, in the apartment above the people with extravagantly shiny red and purple bedspreads (previous Blip). I met some people I had followed on Twitter in the weeks I used it to navigate through the tear gas. Very odd being introduced to people you feel you already know a lot about, at least in some capacity. Sort of wishing I had had another mulled wine to then ask the three or four long term book researchers there how they actually pay their bills/eat.
