If I hadn't been taking photographs at the bus stop, I wouldn't have been distracted.

If I hadn't been distracted, I wouldn't have got on the wrong bus.

If I hadn't got on the wrong bus, I wouldn't have got off at George Street.

If I hadn't got off at George Street, I wouldn't have gone to the station this way.

If I hadn't gone to the station this way, I'd have never seen the evening light on the Scott Monument.

Conclusion: taking photographs leads to taking more photographs.
