Raspberry sorbet and earl grey tea. Deeeeelish.
This finished off a pretty perfect Sunday. We did a few errands, then it was time for the Santa Special train! The East Lancs Railway runs between Bury and Heywood and an original old steam train travels on it. At Christmas they decorate the train and the tunnels, a brass band is on board, there's Christmas carol singing, mince pies and, more importantly, Santa! It's so much fun and a tradition we have done since H's first Christmas in 2008. We look forward to it every year.
A pig out at Pizza Express followed, and now we're home and have assumed crash position for the evening.
17 sleeps blippers!
