Goodbye!

Today we had to say goodbye to Lesley who is moving away from the area to be nearer her family. This shows her with Paul, our son, whom she has known since he was about 3 years old (he is now 25). She taught him in Junior Church (Sunday School) and was also a Deacon and a home group leader. She and her husband (who passed away a few years ago) were the same age as my parents - i.e. she is now 88. I took lots of photos of her with other people this morning. It was all I could do to hold back the tears when we said goodbye.....

Tomorrow we are going over to see my Dad and help him write Christmas cards. (I got muddled yesterday and said it was today. Must have been all that card writing...;-)) Hope everyone has had a good weekend.
