Welcome

After moaning to all and sundry about Christmas starting too early, there was some time in the last week, some happening, that got me going. Maybe it was the thought of son J coming today - he is always very particular about the decorations in "his" home. So yesterday I bought a basic wreath and decorated it this morning, well, i'ts a start!
We've had a lovely quiet day round the fire with just half of our family, J and our grandson George. The others were otherwise occupied. We spent quite a bit of the time with the young showing me new tricks on my iPad.
The little plaque above the wreath says "Here lives a contented cat". It was given to me many years ago by my cousin and has, over the years, referred to many different cats. Coco, the current one, certainly seems very contented, except when it is feeding time.
