Cormorant pose

I'd been hoping to be able to get a better shot of some of the Cormorants that I'd previously seen on my way to the apartment, especially as I had enough room in my bag to take a camera with me that had more zoom than the compact. I was quite disappointed when none of the Cormorants were at the place where I'd seen them before when I rode past it on my one and only trip to the apartment at lunch time. Four of them had made an appearance though when I looked again on my way back, so I stopped my bicycle and crossed the road to take a few shots. When I was taking the last of the photos, one of the birds even struck the typical Comorant pose to dry its feathers.

After a much-needed lie in, today was a very busy day again, mainly sorting several things for the move.
