Cake drop

Neighbour being an arse again. F had arranged surprise birthday drinks for B though so was going out to escape the noise. So after a lovingly made chocolate roulade was rolled I decided to take a photo of it before transferring it to the tin. As I had turned back to do so I watched the roulade slide off the silicon coated greaseproof paper and splat onto the floor.

Arghhh. Arghhh. Arghhh..

I had made the mistake of inverting the roulade onto a flexible chopping sheet rather than a hard wooden chopping board and it must have not been sitting square on the counter so yeah..

I managed to salvage the top bit of it but this is the rest of the yummy cake I had to bin. Furious. Some nice drinks at Ventoux and then food at a Korean place trying some new different food - felt much better, so day salvaged too.
