Day 7 of DDW/MollyMay's December daily challenge - Brittle

Christmas tree up, lights twinkling in the window and Christmas cake marzipanned, ready to be iced next week.

I bought some ice decorations to go on the cake when I bought the fruit for it, I thought "they'll make a good brittle" without realising just how brittle they were, for when I looked at the pack, some were already broken.
